Tuffy Assist: AI-Powered Evaluation of Student Withdrawal Requests
 

Tuffy Assist is an innovative tool that leverages artificial intelligence to evaluate student withdrawal requests. By analyzing the reasons and form details provided, Tuffy Assist categorizes these requests into three categories: high confidence approval, high confidence denial, and low confidence cases. Despite the AI's recommendations, instructors and chairs retain the final authority to approve or deny the requests based on their own review.

Currently in its beta phase, Tuffy Assist is available to all faculty and chairs. Manual review of withdrawal requests remains an option, and feedback on the tool is encouraged. Training guides are available to assist users, and support can be obtained by contacting the helpdesk at helpdesk@fullerton.edu.
